Ruby Isle Announce “Appetite” Release Show

Finally some good news to start this dreary Monday.  Mark Mallman announced on Facebook this morning that his Ruby Isle side project (with Dan Geller and Aaron LeMay) will be having a CD release party on Saturday, January 29 at The Triple Rock.  The release is their long-gestating album-length cover/recreation of Appetite for Destruction.  Opening that night will be Me and My Arrow, New Century Masters, and Spyder Baby Raw Dog.  While we are thrilled that this is finally happening (and knowing these guys, it will be a kick ass show and recording), we here at The Minneapolitan would LOVE to see Mr. Mallman and company re-create Bat Out of Hell.  If anyone was born to sing the Meat Loaf/Jim Steinman opus, it’s Mark.
